  • Best car in its class, and it's not close

We compared this car to the GMC Acadia, Honda Pilot, and VW Atlas. We were seeking a mid sized SUV that could handle NH winters, occasional trips on bumpy roads, and the flexibility of 3rd row seating. This car has it all and then some. It is by far the most spacious and comfortable car we've owned. The interior is well designed and extremely user-friendly. The exterior styling is beautiful - almost reminiscent of something from Land Rover. We chose the 7 seater S model, which includes a sunroof, heated seats, and a few other perks ovetlr the baseline model. For comfort and style, it far outpaces the vehicles mentioned above. The V6 with AWD gets me what I need in terms of flexibility and the included safety features (blind spot detection, lane assist, smart cruise control, daytime LED running lights, etc.) give me comfort driving my kids around. All of the convenience features are fantastic. Time will tell as far as reliability goes, but after test driving the most popular vehicles in this class, this one really sticks out as a superior option. Kudos to Kia for designing a real game changer for their lineup.
  • I love everything about this car.

I had a 2016 Genesis sedan before this that I loved--everything except the low seating. This SX is an SUV match for the Genesis: quiet, smooth, loads of luxury--everything so well thought out and executed. Using keep lane assist and adaptive cruise control, the car virtually drives itself. The stress is gone in stop and go on and long trips. I love the simple elegance of the boxy design.

This car looks great and drives great. Has all the features I was looking for in a new vehicle. However, there is a glitch in the entertainment system that causes the bluetooth feature to not work correctly. Also, the navigation system has a glitch so it will not save any destinations or addresses. Kia has no known fix for this. Buyer beware. I am now stuck with a brand new vehicle that does not work properly with the phone/navigation/stereo system. Otherwise, this would be a great car. Kia does not seem too concerned about fixing this issue, either.
